There are 3 rounds per game, and you'll try to guess the closest listed event to the target year.

Only 30 seconds to guess (prevents cheating).

Closest guesses / lowest points win.

Get on the leaderboard with lower points totals.

Expert mode will provide more obscure events for you to guess.

The leaderboard will show both expert mode and novice mode rankings.
